Eid: Yr One
Eid at Al falah has a flavor of its own! The fulfillment that one achieves while praying with family and friends, is inexplanable!
The true spirit of eid resurfaces! We got there late, so prayed outside on the parking lot. Nonetheless, the humbleness of prostrating on the parkinglot "floor" while dressed in your eid outfit couldnt help but remind us of the flat barren lands thousands of earthquake victims must be prostrating on -albeit, unfortunately, without fancy eid clothes and perhaps without loved ones as well. Today I thank you Allah for blessing us to be privileged enough to celebrate eid as a family.
